Some went by cars, also by van to the best ice cream parlor in town, Greaters of course, is the best we know and Mariemont is such a beautiful and quaint little town. Around the table we all sat - I took raspberry chip, some took coconut and maybe others chocolate I guess. But such a treat we had that night as well as the fun we had. So just a note of thanks to you all from me for being so considerate of us. I will always remember the trip and my treat of the best ice cream but the thought behind it as well. "There was my 92 year old uncle living in a senior apartment in Jacksonville…Originally from Pittsburgh, he remembered all too clearly the nasty cold days of a grey northern winter…. But visit he did and when he toured the facility under Chris’s warm guidance, he melted. The arrangements were completed… He spent his first night there in the latter part of March. Yesterday he told us that he truly loves the staff there and the fact that everything is so new and fresh, it’s a marvel to a 92 year old. Christy, Chris, Nancy, Kelly, Norm, Steve, Chef Don and the entire staff have been outstanding in their sincere desire to make him feel welcome.
